Le burn-out n&rsquo;est pas non plus synonyme de faiblesse. Il vient tout simplement nous rappeler que nous sommes des \u00eatres humains qui en avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 beaucoup fait, et que nous ne pouvons en endurer davantage.<\/p><p>Le burn-out peut toucher n&rsquo;importe quel salari\u00e9 : hommes, femmes, juniors, seniors. Il s&rsquo;immisce peu \u00e0 peu dans le quotidien d&rsquo;une personne, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la mettre \u00e0 terre sans qu&rsquo;elle en ait r\u00e9ellement pris conscience. Cet \u00e9puisement professionnel est d\u00e9crit comme un \u00ab\u00a0<strong><em>\u00e9cart\u00e8lement<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0entre ce que les gens sont et ce qu&rsquo;ils doivent faire\u00a0<\/em>\u00bb. Autrement dit : le burn out est la cons\u00e9quence de ce foss\u00e9 entre ce qu&rsquo;on attend de vous et ce que vous pouvez humainement et rationnellement fournir.<\/p><p><strong>Quels sont les signes du burn-out ?<\/strong><\/p><p><em>\u00ab\u00a0<strong>Mon corps a l\u00e2ch\u00e9<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>. C&rsquo;est bien souvent de cette mani\u00e8re que les victimes de burn-out qualifient ce qu&rsquo;elles ont v\u00e9cu. La raison, la conscience, la voix, ont refus\u00e9 d&rsquo;admettre que la limite a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pass\u00e9e, que le seuil de tol\u00e9rance a \u00e9t\u00e9 atteint depuis longtemps, aussi, c&rsquo;est\u00a0<strong>le corps qui s&rsquo;exprime\u00a0<\/strong>et ploie : impossibilit\u00e9 de se lever un matin, \u00e9croulement sur le lieu de travail, flots de larmes soudain que rien ne peut arr\u00eater\u2026 Les sympt\u00f4mes du burn-out sont multiples, et parmi eux, nous pouvons \u00e9galement citer ceux-ci :<\/p><ul><li>Un \u00e9tat d&rsquo;\u00e9puisement physique, \u00e9motionnel et mental<\/li><li>Une impression d&rsquo;\u00eatre vid\u00e9 de l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur<\/li><li>Un manque consid\u00e9rable d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie, d&rsquo;entrain<\/li><li>Une perte de motivation<\/li><li>Une humeur triste<\/li><li>Une irritabilit\u00e9, un \u00e9tat col\u00e9rique<\/li><li>Une hypersensibilit\u00e9 ou \u00e0 contrario, la sensation de ne plus ressentir aucune \u00e9motion<\/li><li>Des troubles du sommeil<\/li><li>Une grosse fatigue<\/li><li>Des tensions musculaires<\/li><li>Une perte ou une prise de poids soudaine<\/li><li>Des migraines<\/li><li>Des difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 se concentrer, \u00e0 prendre des d\u00e9cisions<\/li><li>Des oublis r\u00e9currents<\/li><li>Des apparitions d&rsquo;addictions : alcool, anti-d\u00e9presseurs, drogues\u2026<\/li><li>Une boule au ventre \u00e0 l&rsquo;id\u00e9e-m\u00eame d&rsquo;aller travailler, envie de pleurer<\/li><li>Une d\u00e9valorisation<\/li><\/ul><p>Si vous reconnaissez votre \u00e9tat dans ces sympt\u00f4mes, il y a de fortes probabilit\u00e9s pour que vous soyez en train de faire effectivement un burn-out. Il n&rsquo;est bien entendu pas n\u00e9cessaire de les ressentir tous pour diagnostiquer un burn-out, certains seulement suffisent.<\/p><p>Le burn-out, comme d\u00e9crit par Maslach et Leiter, sp\u00e9cialistes de l&rsquo;\u00e9puisement au travail, est une \u00ab\u00a0<em>souffrance qui se renforce progressivement et contin\u00fbment, aspirant le sujet dans une spirale descendante dont il est difficile de s&rsquo;extraire\u2026 Qu&rsquo;arrive-t-il lorsque le burnout vous gagne ? En fait, trois \u00e9v\u00e9nements surviennent : vous vous sentez chroniquement \u00e9puis\u00e9 ; vous devenez cynique et vous d\u00e9tachez de votre travail ; et vous vous sentez de plus en plus inefficace dans votre job \u00bb.<\/em><\/p><p>Il est important d&rsquo;en parler, de ne pas banaliser ces sympt\u00f4mes. Il faut toujours garder \u00e0 l&rsquo;esprit qu&rsquo;aller\u00a0<strong>travailler ne doit pas \u00eatre synonyme de souffrance<\/strong>. S&rsquo;il est vrai qu&rsquo;on ne peut pas toujours aimer son travail, il est encore plus vrai qu&rsquo;on ne peut pas en \u00eatre la victime. Dans une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 qui court apr\u00e8s la rentabilit\u00e9 \u00e0 tout prix, les entreprises oublient souvent qu&rsquo;elles ont affaire \u00e0 des \u00eatres humains et non \u00e0 des machines.<\/p><p>Mais d&rsquo;autres motifs peuvent en \u00eatre la cause :<\/p><ul><li>Les\u00a0<strong>exigences \u00e9motionnelles<\/strong>\u00a0: devoir par exemple, afficher, en toutes circonstances, un sourire constant face \u00e0 une client\u00e8le<\/li><li>Le\u00a0<strong>manque d&rsquo;autonomie, de responsabilit\u00e9s<\/strong><\/li><li>Les\u00a0<strong>mauvaises relations<\/strong>\u00a0avec les coll\u00e8gues ou les sup\u00e9rieurs hi\u00e9rarchiques<\/li><li>L&rsquo;<strong>ins\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/strong>\u00a0(physique mais aussi le retard dans le versement du salaire, l&rsquo;instabilit\u00e9, la menace de perte d&#8217;emploi\u2026)<\/li><\/ul><p>Selon une r\u00e9cente \u00e9tude,\u00a0<strong>34% des salari\u00e9s fran\u00e7ais seraient en burn-out<\/strong>, dont 13% en burn-out qualifi\u00e9 de \u00ab s\u00e9v\u00e8re \u00bb, soit plus de 2,5 millions de personnes. Un chiffre en hausse constante.<\/p><p><strong>Comment s&rsquo;en sortir ?<\/strong><\/p><p>Le burn-out n&rsquo;est pas \u00e0 minimiser. D\u00e8s les premiers signes pouvant \u00e9voquer la possibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;un \u00e9puisement professionnel, il est important de prendre rendez-vous avec son m\u00e9decin g\u00e9n\u00e9raliste. Ce dernier pourra alors fournir au patient un arr\u00eat de travail afin qu&rsquo;il se repose, et l&rsquo;orienter vers un th\u00e9rapeute dans le but d&rsquo;entreprendre un\u00a0<strong>travail de reconstruction identitaire<\/strong>, et de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 son avenir professionnel, \u00e9voquer peut-\u00eatre la possibilit\u00e9 de changer d&rsquo;entreprise ou pourquoi pas de se r\u00e9orienter.<\/p><p>Dans tous les cas, il est important de ne pas pr\u00e9cipiter le retour \u00e0 l&#8217;emploi. Dans la plupart des situations, c&rsquo;est la culpabilit\u00e9 qui pousse les victimes de burn-out \u00e0 reprendre le chemin du travail \u00ab\u00a0<em>A cause de moi, mes coll\u00e8gues se retrouvent avec une masse de travail importante, je ne peux pas les laisser comme cela trop longtemps \u00bb, \u00ab Cela fait d\u00e9j\u00e0 deux semaines que je suis en arr\u00eat, \u00e7a ne m&rsquo;est jamais arriv\u00e9 depuis que je suis en \u00e2ge de travailler, je dois retourner travailler \u00bb ou bien encore \u00ab Il y en a qui vivent des situations bien pires que la mienne. \u00bb<\/em><\/p><p>Burn-out et culpabilit\u00e9 sont \u00e9troitement li\u00e9s, d&rsquo;o\u00f9 l&rsquo;importance d&rsquo;un travail th\u00e9rapeutique afin de prendre conscience que cette culpabilit\u00e9 n&rsquo;a pas lieu d&rsquo;\u00eatre.<\/p><p>Lorsque la reprise est pr\u00e9cipit\u00e9e, si le patient n&rsquo;a pas pris le temps n\u00e9cessaire pour se reconstruire et clarifier sa situation professionnelle, le\u00a0<strong>risque de rechute est important<\/strong>. Il faut pr\u00e9parer son retour, et cela prend du temps, parfois plusieurs mois.<\/p><p>La victime de burn-out ne peut en aucun cas retourner sur son lieu de travail et y retrouver les m\u00eames conditions qu&rsquo;\u00e0 son d\u00e9part. Une\u00a0<strong>r\u00e9organisation\u00a0<\/strong>est n\u00e9cessaire, \u00e0 d\u00e9faut d&rsquo;un changement radical.
